Sennheiser ME40

A small diaphragm cardioid condenser with some directionality, but not as unforgiving as the hyper shotgun varieties.  Good for when you can only count on the mic being pointed generally in the right direction, when sound levels are constantly changing, or you just don't want the super focus of a hyper cardioid.

Documentary, location sound recording, general dialogue recording.
