Can also be used as a small playback device. Note: In order to get files not originally recorded on this device to playback, you must follow the naming convention in order for the H1n to read it (ZOOM***). The easiest way to accomplish this is to do a test recording, then when you are adding your own sound file onto the micro SD card, rename it using the naming convention on the file that's already there (ie: switch to the same name using copy/paste, making sure to delete the test file).
